About Us
Our Belief & Business
At Pivotal Pathway, you can expect to meet an licensed, educated, experienced professional that knows their skill and self worth. At Pivotal Pathway, we have a personalized, consultative approach to your wellness objectives. We use 100% therapeutic grade essential oils and whatever it takes to help you. This is a local Waco native, woman owned business, and we value our relationships with each and every client.
We believe that our purpose is to assist you with a safe, beautiful space for healing, respite, and connection to your own mind, body and spirit. Massage is one of the most effective ways to help calm your system down and disconnect while receiving medicinal benefits. When you are able to relax your mind and body, you are recharged enough to be a presence and power in your own life and the lives of others.
We are supporters of Midway ISD, members of the Greater Hewitt Chamber of Commerce and members of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). We have been winners in LOCALS LOVE US each year since 2016 and have donated to the Humane Society and other local charities because we love our community. All licensing for our establishment and therapists remain current, we follow the CDC guidelines regarding COVID, and we always pass the surprise TDLR visits. You can feel confident knowing we have your best interest in mind and take great lengths to ensure safety, cleanliness and peace.
Wendy Noriskin, Founder/Owner
Owner of Pivotal Pathway LLC, Licensed Massage Instructor (MI3436), Licensed Massage Therapist (License# MT122870)
Wendy Noriskin, M.A., is the founder and owner of Pivotal Pathway LLC. She decided to leave her corporate career in training and development in 2015. After the death of her beloved sister, she felt compelled and called to open a business that helped highly stressed individuals find their center in a safe space of healing. At the time, she knew nothing about massage therapy except for the benefits she received from being a recipient. Based on her experience and observations in the corporate world, she wanted to create a safe, professional environment where stressed individuals could regain the feeling of centeredness and obtain legitimate bodywork. She decided to take a risk and obtain her massage therapy license in 2015, and eventually obtain an instructor license and establishment license. Her intention was never to work at a spa, but to become a wellness practitioner that could bring new ideas and therapies and other less know wellness related services to Waco.
Wendy’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s in Business Management from Texas State University, a Master’s degree in Organizational Development from the University of Incarnate Word, 18 hours towards a Masters in Mental Health Counseling, Certification in Lean Six Sigma, Texas Teaching Certificate in Secondary Education, and Adult Instructional Design.
Her massage training includes; completion of a Texas accredited 500 hour massage program, well over 2000 hours of hands on massage therapy, as she is a certified massage instructor as well. She also completed continuing education courses in Deep Tissue Massage, Stretching, Sports Massage, Water Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, and Raindrop Therapy. In addition, she has studied and taken courses in Qigong, Myofascial Release, Quantum Touch, Reiki, and Water Massage Therapy. She is a mother of two precious children and felt called to create this beautiful practice.
